Mrs. Tranesha Fisher

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, I am a product of Fort Worth ISD and proud graduate of Oscar Dean Wyatt High School! My career with Fort Worth ISD began in 2001 and I served in various roles within the Transportation Department before transitioning into my teaching career in 2014. I received my Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University and held the distinguished position of the highest ranking graduate in the College of Education.

After teaching for 6 years and serving on the campus and instructional leadership team at West Handley Elementary School for over 4 years, I received my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019.

Throughout my teaching career, I have served as a Classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, Lead Content Teacher, Mathematics Teacher Leader, Mentor Teacher, and Resident Advisor for the Relay Graduate School of Education. I believe that all students have a unique gift within them that is awaiting to be revealed, and that all students can learn and thrive in the right environment! Nothing is impossible!!

My ultimate desire is to make a greater impact on the lives of our students at D. McRae Elementary and the community by closing the opportunity gap and ensuring that ALL students reach their full potential!

In my spare time, I enjoy completing word puzzles, singing, and spending time with my husband, children, and two grandsons!
