Mrs. Ivette Granados

I have been teaching at D. McRae for 3 years. I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with my Bachelors in Bilingual education. I was born and raised in Fort Worth and attended FWISD schools through all of my education. I live in Joshua with my husband and our 8 month old daughter and 2 dogs.

I love animals, and have helped my family care for cows and chickens. My favorite thing is watching my students grow academically and getting to build relationships with them and their families.

Ms. Lissette Pozos

I am Ms. Pozos and I am a proud tiger here at D. McRae. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas Wesleyan. Go Rams! I have a passion for education because education is something no one can take away from you, it's something you will have for the rest of your life and that is what I want to ignite in my students as well. Every student learns differently but every student also has the capability to bloom. Looking forward to this journey!

Ms. Shanel Edwards

I have been teaching for about 14 years.  This is my 10th year in the district and my 3rd year at D. McRae.

Mrs. Erica Johnson

This is my first year as a full-time teacher, and I’ve had the opportunity to be at D. McRae for a year due to participating in a teacher residency program. This program allowed me to gain valuable classroom experience and build strong relationships with the students and staff, which has been incredibly rewarding.

I attended Texas Wesleyan University, where I received my education and training in teaching. I’ve always had a passion for education, and being able to work directly with students and watch them grow has solidified my love for teaching. It’s something I truly enjoy, and I look forward to continuing to develop as an educator.
