Mrs. Lorena Arbelaez

I am Mrs. Arbelaez, dual language second grade teacher. I graduated from UTA in May 2006. This is my 19th year teaching here at D.McRae. I like building long lasting relationships with students and their families and helping my students grow and succeed academically.

Ms. Teresa Valdez

Hello Everyone! My name is Ms. Valdez and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at D. McRae Elementary. I have been teaching at D. McRae for the past 14 years. I was born and raised in Mexico. I graduated from Polytechnic High School, and I continued with my studies at the University of Texas of Arlington where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an Early Childhood-4 grade Bilingual Education Certification. My goal as an educator is to inspire and guide young minds towards the desire to learn with a high-quality education.

Ms. Margaret Bridenbaugh

I am Ms. B. I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and moved to the DFW area when I attended the University of North Texas. I received my teaching certification from Southern Methodist University. This is my second year teaching at D. McRae. I love watching my students grow and develop a love for learning. In my spare time, I enjoy completing puzzles and spending time with my family and friends.

2nd grade teacher Ms. Williams

 

Ms. Mishayla Williams

Ms. Mishayla Williams began her career in education in 2019. She has served as a 4th grade, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and now 2nd grade teacher.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Paul Quinn College in Dallas, Texas. She has spent her entire educational career with the Fort Worth Independent School District. Ms. Williams encourages all scholars to believe in themselves, always do their best, treat others as they would like to be treated, and continuously embrace learning.

Ms. Williams is the proud parent of one daughter and one fur baby. In her free time, she simply enjoys being with family, watching her brother play football, and traveling to new places.

Hello!   My name is Ms. Holcombe.  I have my bachelor's degree in Marketing and a master's degree in Education.  I have been teaching for more than 20 years.  This year I am teaching second grade.
