I have been a PE Teacher/Coach for 13 years. This is my 4th year at D. McRae. My favorite sport is soccer. I graduated and played soccer at The University of Texas Permian Basin, home of the Falcons.

Mr. Andres Soto
My name is Andres Soto and I have been teaching in Fort Worth for 8 great years. I was born in Fort Worth and raised in Arlington, where I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors in Music Education and a Minor in Spanish. I am certified in Orff Schulwerk levels 1-3 as well as all Gordon levels. I have also been the instrument and equipment chair for the 2018 Orff conference. When not teaching, I enjoy traveling, being on two wheels, and spending time with family.
I believe that by incorporating subject core, passion, creativity, character building, and communication, students from all ages and backgrounds have a chance to create something wonderful together. My hope is that my students discover the large impact and long-lasting affect music can have on their lives.

Mi nombre es Andrés Soto y he estado enseñando en Fort Worth durante 5 grandes años. Nací en Fort Worth y crecí en Arlington, donde me gradué de la Universidad de Texas en Arlington con una licenciatura en educación musical y una especialización en español. Estoy certificado en los niveles 1-3 de Orff Schulwerk, así como en todos los niveles de Gordon. También he sido el presidente de instrumentos y equipos de la conferencia Orff 2018. Cuando no doy clases, disfruto viajar, estar sobre dos ruedas y pasar tiempo con la familia.

This year is my 29th year of teaching with the FWISD. I have two daughters and a bonus daughter. I love to take time to visit them because none of them live or go to school in Texas. I love college football and hanging out with my husband. Go Pack of Visionarios.
